They really are the best clam cakes and chowda I've ever had and growing up in Rhode Island I have had some good ones. Very laid back and comfortable place to go after a day at the beach.

This is a great restaurant in a great location! The clam cakes are the best in the world. Yes, the world! I also love the fish n chips, and everything else i have tried! I'm originally from the area and our family vacations in Narragansett every summer and i eat here every time. I'll be there the first week in August. Come by then and i will sign autographs!

Starboard Galley has the best clam cakes I have ever had.  The chowder is great too.  There is something for everyone on their menu.  My favorite is the fish sandwich made with fresh flounder on a grilled roll.  I always ask for a piece of cheese on mine.  Some of my other favorites are the mozzarella sticks, the shrimp basket  and the cheesburgers.

HUGE clam cakes

yeah, they were REALLY BIG! I am in LOOOOOOOOOOOVE with the clam cakes now that I have tried them, I have been converted from an Iggy's only clam cake lover.  They were gigantic, crispy on the outside and perfect, steamy, yumminess on the inside....and they actually HAD CLAMS IN THEM!  Yes my Yelping friends sometimes that is a hard thing to find in a clam cake...
